Given below are scores for four individuals on health-related fitness test items.

(Please note that on the real Praxis Exams you may be asked a similar question about nearly any test item on the FitnessGram. This question is designed to help you prepare for various test items.  I encourage you to write your own practice questions by varying the age/sex, test item, and individual's score parameters.)

  1. For each test item listed, identify the health-related fitness component it measures.

  2. For each of the four individuals, develop a six-week plan to improve or maintain his or her fitness level. The plan must include appropriate activity for each person's age and developmental level.

  3. Identify one principle or concept from motor development, motor learning, exercise physiology, or biomechanics and explain how it relates to one or all areas of your six-week plan.
