Tests at a GlanceTests at a Glance, sometimes called TAAGs, are a series of free booklets designed to help students prepare for the Praxis Series Examinations. In TAAGs you can find sample questions, sample answers, scoring rubrics, and rationales for why certain answers score higher than others. Hard copies of TAAG booklets may be available on campus from the School or Department of Education. The Physical Education TAAGs are located in the TAAG: Education booklet. ETS says it will soon stop offering hard copies of TAAGs and will be offering them only by download from the ETS Praxis II website. Much of the information presented on these web pages came from TAAG: Education. Do not underestimate the importance of the Tests at a Glance! When ETS prepares questions for the Praxis exams, the questions must align with the content as outlines in the Tests at a Glance publications. Essentially, the Tests at a Glance are the specifications for the Praxis II Exams!
Official Study Guide Available!ETS publishes an official study guide for the health and physical education exams! The study guide is not available for download, but must be ordered from ETS. The study guide is $40 and can be ordered from the ETS Online Store
Be sure to use both the Tests at a Glance and the official study guide for the health and physical education exams! They compliment each other quite well. Viewing, Printing and Downloading TAAGsTests at a Glance are available on-line and a printable version can be downloaded by following the links below. Tests at a Glance include content outlines, sample questions in each content area with rationale for the best answers, and test-taking strategies. Look at All the Applicable TAAGsYou might want to look at several of the TAAGS. For example, PE: Content Knowledge 0091 has some questions dealing with health, so it might be wise to look at the TAAG for Health Education 0850. All of the health and physical education TAAGs can be found in the TAAG: Education booklet.
